Blues Four Ways and Then Some…
One of the most exciting shows to come out of Canada, the ELECTRIC BLUES EXPLOSION delivers four great individuals artists that go beyond the call of duty and do more than deliver some exciting sets. They collaborate. They feed off each other. They respect one another. But most importantly: They know how to deliver the goods like has rarely been seen before.
Guitars caressed, abused, beaten, made to sing- to sum it up: anything you can imagine to bring the blues home and then some. And audiences are eating it up. The sheer power of emotion displayed by these amazing musicians has crowds jumping up, cheering for more.
The stars of the show are successful musicians in their own right and jumped at the chance to do something different. Needless to say, they ended up having the time of their lives and can’t wait to bring the EXPLOSION to audiences around the globe.

Electric Blues Explosion member Thom Swift was honored once again last evening, this time for his very first solo CD "Into The Dirt" by Canada's National Maple Blues Awards as "New Artist of the Year". Although "Brother Thom" has 5 wins and 11 nominations under his belt over the years with his trio "Hot Toddy", this was the first time that he was nominated as a solo artist. He is also nominated for the same album by the East Coast Music Awards, which will be handed out next month.
Last night's win brings the total number of hardware collected by the Electric Blues Explosion members to 24 with a total of 36 nominations. Carson Downey, Wild T and Keith Hallett are proud to have "Brother Thom" in their ranks and congratulate him on his current win. (At the same time, they want to remind him not rest on his laurels, as they are looking to collect more awards themselves....).

The four artists perform in a variety of settings. The regular theatre show is comprised of each artist playing a set of their own with a grand finale with all artists appearing on stage at the same time (this is a 150 to 180 minute show).
Festival shows can either be 60 to 90 minutes of all artists appearing together or a full night of individual sets with the grand finale. Please contact us for potential variations of these sets.
