The All Star Guitar night brings together on one stage some of the finest guitarists from different genres and all parts of the world. Playing solo, together and as an ensemble, these musicians will explore how the combination of various guitars, styles and influences can be blended together to create an exciting and truly infectious show! You'll want to see this show 
more than once, as the musicianship, improvisation and spontaneity of these virtuoso guitar players will make for a different and magical experience each night.
Muriel Anderson -The first and only woman to win the National Fingerpicking Guitar Championship, Muriel Anderson's style ranges from folk, classical, jazz, bluegrass, and international music. She has been composing since the age of six and has published works for guitar and orchestra, voice, and solo guitar. She is also the founder and director of Music for Life Alliance charity, which helps raise money to provide children with instruments and music education. She is also the host of the renowned, “Muriel Anderson’s All STAR GUITAR NIGHT.” She has published several instructional books and videos and tours extensively. An innovator of the classical guitar and harp guitar, her virtuosity and charm warms the stage. This is one you don’t want to miss.
Jan Kuiper - Is a virtuoso on both the electric and acoustic guitars with a deep knowledge of North and South Indian music. In 1984 he was the winner of the Middelsee Jazz Festival Contest in Leeuwarden Holland and in 1985 he received the prestigious Dutch Podium Prize for young talented jazz musicians. Since then Jan has appeared on over 25 albums and is actively composing music for dance companies, and classical ensembles. As a veteran guitar player with over 35 years of experience He is the founder and leader of the Five Great Guitars and actively performs in The Jungle Warriors (a 20 piece band with break dancers, street dance and Bollywood dance). In addition to this, he is one of a few people who play a specially built 18 string India guitar.
Zou Diarra - is a musical genius and known as the King of the Malian Desert Blues. He plays over 10 instruments including guitar, saxophone, kora (African Harp), Balafon, and the ngoni. In fact, he was the only person in the world to build a 42 strong kora. His style ranges anywhere from jazz to salsa to R&B. Born in Mali to a family of “griots,” he learned at an early age to teach himself how to play music by listening to music and in return he teaches music to others. He truly is a one of a kind guitarists and a must see.
Erwin Java - Erwin is by far one of the best blues players to emerge from Holland. He has recorded albums with guitar virtuoso Alvin Lee, the Dutch Rock legend Herman Brood and appeared on numerous TV specials. Currently he plays with Dutch blues legend Cuby + Blizzards and teaches at the famous NMI Guitar institute at Groningen.
Digmon Roovers: Digmo n plays all the bass parts on his 6 string folk guitar with octavider. He was Bass Groove Master on all of the Five Great Guitar tours where he joined forces with legends such as Larry Carlton, Kaki King and Izaline Calister.
“All Star Guitar Night”
Now in it’s 15th year, Muriel Anderson’s All Star Guitar Night promises to bring the most talented guitar players together for one night of pure guitar bliss. Past artists include Les Paul, Chet Atkins, David Grissom and many more. Artists donate their talent and time in support of the Music for Life Alliance charity, which is charity dedicated to helping disadvantaged children have access to instruments and music education in their schools. Music for Life Alliance charity was founded and is directed by Muriel Anderson.
The show originated in 1993 as an informal get together following a Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention and NAMM show, where the events brought in some of the best guitarists in the world. The vision was created at they all sat around a pool, playing music for each other, with each other and from there the vision began. Fans will experience the same rawness as each show unfolds, truly making the experience unforgettable and one of a kind.
